EFT: How I See The Client-Practitioner Relationship
Yesterday I had a great Skype conversation with my fellow practitioner colleague and dear friend Marina, talking about how I see the client-practitioner relationship and here’s what came up for me after confusing thoughts I had for a while:
In the beginning, when EFT just started out, the emphasis was on “Fast cure”, at least that was my perception of it.
Now that I’ve learned quite a few different variations and other techniques I came to the conclusion, that EFT is much more than that, for me it’s a relationship between me and you – like a team – growing TOGETHER and learning one from another.
Yes, there are problems that can be solved in an instant, which is great, however my idea of a “Winning team” would be, that you would take care of your energy-body at home – it’s like brushing teeth on a daily basis, and doesn’t take much more time, – and every now and then, let’s say once a month we would meet up chatting about the positive changes you’d have achieved, giving your energy system a boost or anything else it needs……like when you go to the gym or exercise on a regular basis, go to the hairdressers or you’re having a massage every once in a while, your energy-body deserves and needs the same acknowledgement and pampering <3
Would love to hear your thoughts on that.
I’m offering a free consultation chat (“Schedule Meeting” on the upper part of my FB “Palace of Possibilities”page), if you feel there’s something, you’d like to change and you’re looking for a “Teammate” ![]()
Thank you and I love you, taking the time reading ♥
The little magicians at school
Wow, what can I say….these kids are AMAZING!
Today I went, to teach another 2 groups of six from each 2nd grade class, how to deliver “The magic tap” in front of their classmates.
I was totally stunned to see, that almost all of them already knew the rhyme by heart! “Did you tap every day?”, I asked. “Well, not every day but quite a few times”, they answered proudly.
“Wow, you’re wonderful, I’m so proud of you guys”, I said “we’ll do all the precise steps together and then you’ll do it as a group in front of me, as if I was the class and had no idea, ok?”
They did that with my guiding and then on their own and ran back into their classrooms in order to demonstrate in front of the class!
As I entered their classroom a little later the teacher said in a sarcastic tone:”Yeah, indeed they came back very calm….they came in running and laughing…”
“Yes of course”, I said “They wanna demonstrate in front of the class, what they’ve learned!”
“Oh, really? I didn’t know…”, she said with a remorseful voice.
“Do you want to show it now?”, she asked them.
“Yeeeessss!”, and they lined up in front of the class and demonstrated the “Magic Tap”
Also the kids from the other class did exceptionally well and I had even time to teach another 2 groups!
It’s so fun to see, how eager they are to participate (or they want to skip class
)
Anyway, it’s the teachers who need a push in order to allow the kids to do it an a daily basis.
I hope you enjoy my little “stories”
Feel free to leave comments!
EFT School project progress with 2nd graders
Today, as I arrived at school, I met the teacher of the class for kids with special needs.
“And how are the kids doing? Are you doing the EFT rhyme every day?”
“To tell you the truth”, she responded “We didn’t have time…”.
I went to see the principal as she gives me a new assignment every week.
“Listen”, I said, “I come once a week for over 2 years now and I do that because I want to help kids.I want to conduct a workshop for the teachers of those classes I work with, in order to let them experience the effect, EFT has.”
“Well, that won’t be possible”, she answered, “they have a lot of courses, I even can’t meet them!
But I have an idea: If the teachers don’t take the initiative, let’s do it the other way round!”
We worked out a plan, that every week she’ll choose 6 kids of each class, they’ll get specific instructions from me, how to deliver EFT in front of their class and after a week, other 6 kids will exchange them until all of the kids had the opportunity to stand in front of the class and teach them the EFT rhyme
Today, I started with the first 2 groups from 2 different classes and they were so proud to be the ones delivering EFT.
They felt like little magicians
We’re going to focus on those 2 classes for a month and then we’ll introduce the program to 3rd graders. It sounds like a plan, doesn’t it
Until next time, keep smiling
Teaching 2nd graders “The magic of tapping”
Oh my, I don’t know where to start……
I worked with 3 classes today, all 2nd graders:The first one was a class for kids with special needs….I told them that I’m a magician and I want to teach them how they can become magicians as well.
“There are very few children in the world who know this specific magic and I’m specialised on this piece of magic therefore you’ll become real specialists as well”, I started my demonstration.
“Since I’ve heard that you’re amazing kids I chose to share the magic with you”.
“Who wants to learn this magic?”
All the hands went up.
So I asked them, what is it, a magician needs.
“A hat, a magic wand!”
“Yes, in this case we need a magic wand and you know what?
Each and everyone of you already has one!
It’s a finger!
Just choose one and I’ll show you, how you can activate your personal magic wand!”
Every kid held one finger up in the air and then I said:
“Now I want you to think of how you’d like to feel after the conjuring trick.”
“If you’re this happy now (and I showed them with my hands a bit apart), would you like to feel this happy?”
(I showed them with my arms wide apart)
“You can think of any emotion, that makes you feel great.”
“Take your time and then we’ll activate our magic wands.”
They shared, what feeling they’ve chosen and then I showed them how to activate their wands.
We went through the rhyme I’ve written and at the end ALL of the kids stated, that they’re feeling much higher than at the beginning!
I asked them what they have to do in order to become a real professional,
“We have to practise!”, they said.
“Yes, that’s right and then you can teach your magic to you parents, sisters, brothers and other members of the family!”
“I leave the rhyme with your teacher and she’ll practise with you every day, ok?”
“YESSS”, they shouted and I thanked them for being such amazing kids and moved on to another class.
It was quite the same scenario and the kids where enjoying themselves very much.
“Wow, I can feel the tingling sensation in my hands”, or “I can feel my hands becoming warm,”they said after I showed them, how to activate the magic wand.
The 3rd class was the most challenging….
They where very loud and the teacher hardly succeeded in calming them down, BUT:
There is a kid in this class who is mentally disabled and he rose his hand when I asked which feeling he’d like to feel.
The moment, he started to spoke, there was total silence in the classroom, he was speaking slowly and out of context at the beginning and no one was interrupting him!
My eyes filled with tears and after he finished speaking I said:”
“You are amazing kids, you touched my heart big time, you listened and didn’t interfere !”
Their teacher also praised them and now I’m filled with gratitude and love and I’m so proud of having the honour to be part of something so amazing!
Looking forward to teach more “magic” <3
